At Portola Paints, we take pride in the artisanal quality of our small-batch finishes; however, due to the custom nature of our color mixing, we have specific guidelines for returns and exchanges. Please ensure you have reviewed your order details carefully before finalizing your purchase of our specialty paints and primers.
Verify Eligibility
Confirm that your items are unopened and in their original packaging; please note that custom-tinted colors, lime wash, and Roman clay are non-returnable.
Initiate Request
Contact our customer service team within 14 days of delivery to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and specific shipping instructions.
Pack and Ship
Securely package your items to prevent leaking during transit and ship them back to our Los Angeles warehouse using a tracked shipping method.
Inspection and Refund
Once our team inspects the returned goods for integrity, we will issue a refund to your original payment method, minus a 20% restocking fee.
