What is the typical lead time for an order?
Since our paints are small-batch and hand-tinted to order, please allow 3-5 business days for processing before your order ships.
Do you offer international shipping?
Currently, we ship within the United States and Canada. For international inquiries, please contact our support team for a custom freight quote.
Can I return or exchange my paint?
Because all of our colors are custom-mixed to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges. We highly recommend ordering a sample pot or swatch before committing to a full gallon.
How do I calculate how much paint I need?
Generally, one gallon of Portola Paint covers approximately 350-400 square feet per coat. We recommend two coats for the most accurate color representation.
Are your paints eco-friendly?
Yes, we prioritize sustainability. Most of our products are Low-VOC or Zero-VOC, ensuring a safer environment for your home and the planet.
What is the difference between Lime Wash and Roman Clay?
Lime Wash is a thin, mineral-based finish that creates a weathered, sueded look, while Roman Clay is a thicker plaster-like finish applied with a putty knife for a smooth, marble-like effect.
